THE INSTRUMENT ITSELF
DISTRIBUTION
057 for macOS is available directly from PROBNAYA; CLI / Web is distributed through npm; 057 Display for iPhone is free on the App Store. No 057 account or cloud service is required.
NETWORK
Installing CLI / Web uses the npm registry. The macOS app checks 057’s update feed about once a day (off in its 057 menu). A paired 057 Display communicates directly with the Mac over an authenticated local-network connection; FIELD state does not pass through PROBNAYA or a cloud service.

PolyForm Internal Use License 1.0.0. The third-party components bundled into the interface keep their own MIT licences, recorded in
NOTICE.md in the package.
